Well this weekend I sold the girls’ Little Tikes playhouse and Step2 dollhouse… don’t worry they hardly played with either of them.. and they are going to get something I think they will enjoy much more!
Here is the plan… I’m combining the money from this weekend with the money from the April 25th yard sale and getting them each this…
It’s the Performance Balance Kid’s Bike. I think… I hope they will like it… they are trying to use their current trikes with no luck… since we live out in the country we don’t have too many smooth surfaces to learn how to pedal easily… with these they won’t have to worry about pedaling. They will just be able to push themselves around AND they will learn how to balance!
Now to get them helmets… I guess those will have to wait until the bikes get here.. hopefully they won’t take too long.. they are on back order right now… I probably should have called… hmmm… in the morning…
IF they say longer than I want to wait I’ll have to go with bike number 2…
A Zoomer (Sunrise Pink). I know this bike is pink and was my first choice but I don’t know.. I like the other bike more… it looks like a “little” girls’ bike rather that a toddler’s bike… and the tires are rubber vs. the hard rubber of the Zoomer… I think it will be easier for the girls to get around with since we live out in the country.
We shall see…

Well today I’m more or less the same on the soreness scale.. maybe a little less than we thought but definitely still really sore… I don’t think I broken anything but you never know if it’s hairline… I have spent most of the day sitting and working on the computer making vinyl car decals for Mike for the Jersey Shore parade on Thursday.
Here is what I made for both sides of the Explorer.. I’m quite happy how it all turned out. The second side hasn’t been applied yet because the rain came… but should be up tomorrow. I also have other letters to make for the parade just not sure what he wants those to spell out just yet.. It’s a work in progress. 
Let’s see what else… oh yea… we got our second Robin’s nest in the tree we were going to remove after the first set of birds left the nest… well we didn’t get it done before she laid some more eggs… which brings me to the Picture of the Day…
Maybe this time I’ll get a picture of the birdies before they leave the nest… Oh yea… I still have to upload the pictures from the last robin’s nest… whoops…

So today I fell… 
that put a downer on my whole day after that… and it happened in the morning…
I was cleaning out the girls’ playhouse and wasp decided it was going to try to make home in there… well I was inside when it attacked me.. I couldn’t back out of the door fast enough I was on my knees on the gravel… so I pushed the house over and hit the back of head on the bottom of the door frame and stumbled back… as I was regaining my balance I tripped over the wagon that was behind me that had once carried the playhouse from the wet yard to the gravel and fell directly on my left elbow… OUCH… I heard some cracking and in an instant I was on my butt moving backwards because the wasp was chasing me.. RIGHT IN MY FACE!!! well… after he finally went away… I realized I hit my elbow pretty hard, scuffed my left leg, hands and sprained my right ankle… OUCH!
I laid there for a moment holding my arm afraid to move it.. the girls were inside.. mike was helping his parents so I KNEW I had to make it to the house… so I got up and hobbled to the front door… then mike was driving by the yard… I was still clutching my arm.. I walked to wear he parked the 4-wheeler and told him the story… he said well try to move your arm… I was able to move it… hopefully I don’t have a hairline fracture and I’ll be okay in a couple of days… this really sucks though!
I’m still really sore… and I am sure I will be for some days now…
Anyway… the girls are doing well..
Now time for me to take some pain meds and get to bed…
OUCH…

Girls start their very first dance class on Monday!!! The leotards, tights and shoes arrived last week… I’m going to try everything on them and take a picture… We will have to get another smaller pair of tap shoes since Autumn’s are just too big… but hopefully she will continue to want to take dance classes and can wear them next year… or later this year depending on how fast her feet grow.
