OH MY GOSH..
I totally forgot to tell you about the meat loaf..
I WAS YUMMY!!!
Mike said it was very close to his mom’s!! That is a compliment!!
It’s a keeper and next time I’ll take pictures..
Tomorrow night I will be trying Chicken Parmigiana..
Wish me luck!!
Winners and Knoebels
Well yesterday’s Knoebels trip was a BLAST!!
The girls rode almost all the rides together! There were only 2 rides that Autumn didn’t want to go on with Haley. It probably would have been 3 but we didn’t walk by the Grand Carousel.
The first ride of the day WAS going to be the boat driving ride but the line was TOO long.. well not too long but the wait was too long. You see the operator has to wait for a boat to return before he can release any boats.. so depending on the drivers steering is how long it takes.. so we jumped out of line and went to the boat rides where the rider sits inside and rings the bell.. The girls were happy.
Autumn wanted to sit next to Haley.. it was so sweet.. she’s really starting to act like a big sister even though she is the younger one.
Next stop was the fishing game.. two tries each at that..
If you look in the background of the second picture you can see the Bambini.. that was next on Haley’s list but Autumn went to the ball pit on the other side.
I got to ride on the Bambini with Haley.. man that thing goes fast if you are closer to the edge.. LOL
After our ride was over we joined daddy and Autumn at the ball pit.. the girls played in there two times.
Then it was time for the JUMPY HOUSE!!!
Autumn was fine.. I think she either bonked into a little boy or hit herself.. she was fine..
Next we tried to get Autumn to ride the Flume so we could ALL go on.. but she didn’t want to go.. we all played a water game but even after that she didn’t want to go so we watched and waited for daddy and Haley to ride the Flume..
They got to jump the line shortly after this picture was taken.. because they were two riders and not a group of 3 or 4..
Here they are going up the first climb..
I only have one gripe with the picture.. they can’t cut out the people we don’t know.. sorry girls.. they were scared and didn’t know there was a first drop.. LOL
After daddy’s turn it was mommy’s turn to take Haley..
Like the first ride we were told we could go to the front..
Here we are in the front of the log.. first time for Haley to be in the front!
I decided since she clearly LOVES this ride we would try riding it with our hands up at the down hill.. she wasn’t holding on to me or worried.. she was laughing the entire time.. it was sooo fun.. the girl behind us with her dad.. she was scared but I think she had fun too.
By the way.. I was holding her with my legs.. don’t worry grammy.. she was safe..
Here is a picture for Grammy.. it’s an antique Rooster Carousel statue thing-a-ma-bob.. LOL
Well after cleaning up from the snocones and visiting the Carousel Museum we went to the ball pit one last time and then home. That was after I vowed not to let the girls go into the ball pit if there were more than 6 children!
Well as you can see the day was fun and the girls can’t wait to go back.. maybe next year Autumn will be riding the Flume with us.

FIRST FRIDAY FABRIC BAG GIVE-AWAY!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today is a family day..
Daddy is taking off work early to take us to Knoebels!!!
Haley can’t wait to ride the Flume again and Autumn wants to play all the games.
I’ve decided that we are going to have meatloaf tonight. I have a recipe in the Crockery Cookery book. We should be getting home about the time it’s ready.
Here’s the recipe.. sorry no pictures I couldn’t find the camera..
FAMILY FAVORITE MEAT LOAF
2 beaten eggs
3/4 cup milk
2/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs
2 tbs. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground sage
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
Sauce:
1/2 cup catsup
2 tbs. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Combine eggs with milk, bread crumbs, onion salt sage and meat. Mix well and shape into 9×5″ retangle or oval, or about 6″ round. Carefully place in slow-cooking pot. Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Combine sauce in small bowl; pour over meat. Cover and cook on h igh 15 minutes longer. Slice and serve while hot. Makes 6 servings.
Here is what I did differently.. I used dried diced onions instead of grated onions and I didn’t have any dry mustard or nutmeg instead i used about 1/2 tsp of Country Bob’s Seasoning.
We’ll see how this turns out when we come home.. hopefully it will be YUMMY..
If you didn’t know cleaning is my least favorite thing in the world to do.. a domestic goddess I am most definitely NOT..
but I am going to try to start being more domestic and start cleaning with a smile.. if not to make things seem a little better but to help the girls learn that cleaning can be fun and even though it’s not we should do it.. DAILY.. LOL
Well today I’ve started using my iPod as a timer.. I’m trying this FREE app on the iPod..
It’s free and you can run more than one timer at a time.. counts up or down.. so far so good..
Easy to customize.. so many features..
And this is just the lite versioin.. it’s FREE..
It could use a louder chime or ring but so far it’s helping!!!
LOOK.. I can make a post in 5 minutes!!!
UPDATE
We are also going to start using this CHILD CHORE CHART for each of the girls and this FAMILY CHORE CHART for me..
Wish us luck!
