Lycoming County Fair

Yesterday we went to the Lycoming County Fair.

It was HOT and HUMID!

But we had a GREAT time!

Here you can see how HUMID it was.. you can barely see the mountains in the background.. YUCKY sticky!!

Oh we took this picture because neither of us could see what the it said on the packaging.. we BOTH need to get eye exams.. been 3 years for me and probably 6 or more for Mike.

Autumn is not much into rides so we was AMAZED when she went on this ride with Haley.

She laughed and screamed the entire time!

Still laughing after riding it ALONE over 10 times!

Finally convinced Autumn to ride it a second time..

But the noises from the other rides, air release valves, made it impossible for Autumn to enjoy it.

But she stayed on the entire time.

Haley STILL enjoying the ride.. I think she rode this ride a total of 12 times!! Good thing ALL rides were free with admission!

WARNING : I guess if you are squeamish you probably shouldn’t read this post.. there are some what graphic photos…

If you could say OUCH and CRAP at the same time…

Yes, that IS a splinter in MY foot.. OUCH!!

It happened about 30 minutes before Mike was suppose to get off work..

I tried calling my mother-in-law.. no answer..

Mike’s Aunt.. no one was home..

Ahhhhh…

I finally called Mike but he could not leave early because he needed to be there to lock everything up..

So I had to wait.. while I waited though I tried to cut the skin above the splinter..

After Mike got home he was able to get the larger of the 4 pieces out..

.. before we did the final cleaning.. which was a HUGE ouchie!!

All bandaged up..

Dr. Gaffer really pulled through on this one.. even with the girls trying to see everything through their magnifying glass… HAHAHA

Sick.. ahhh..

Did I mention I hate Spring colds!

I’m sick, Mike’s not feeling 100% and the girls are coughing and sneezing with a temp! UGGG…

Let’s blame this one on daddy.. the girls were doing a little better Sunday morning so Mike let them play on the front porch.. but didn’t have them change into heavier clothes.. I got them changed but then they decided to play in their sand box.. WITH WATER.. UGG… so no they have coughs..

Hopefully we will be better soon!

Well.. the cold has taken over my head..

I’m in bed sick today.. hopefully I’ll be better tomorrow since Mike has to go back to work!

Happy Mother’s Day!!

Last day of vacation..

Well today is the last day of vacation for Mike and Mother’s Day!

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY

Today I woke up to my usual morning kisses from daddy and the girls. Then daddy took the girls out to the living room and let me sleep a little longer.. Oh I love to sleep in!

About an hour later the girls came running in saying “Happy Mother’s Day Momma”.. :)

 Today is going to be a good day..

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers.. especially my mother!

I love you!
