Grammy From California!!

Today Grammy, Pop Pop and Aunt Jessica arrived!!

Haley and I went to pick up Aunt Jessica from the airport while daddy and Autumn stayed home to greet Grammy and Pop Pop.

The girls have been SOOO excited about this visit.. Grammy from California is coming!! Followed by a giggle, squeal or laugh.. that is what filled the house the last few days and weeks.

My batteries were dead in my camera when we went to the airport but there were hugs and smiles and lots of at ventures in our VERY SMALL airport.

I call this one.. waiting at the door with baited breath.. hey why don’t I take a picture of the whole in the screen Haley and I created the week before the family visit.. as you can see I TRIED to fixed it.. but they destroyed it the morning of every one’s arrival..

Well that was it for the arrival.. I hear that Autumn went running out the door and practically jumped into grammy’s arms after her jumping around for joy that is.. She’s definitely grammy’s girl!

Later that afternoon the girls, Aunt Jessica and I went swimming.. worst weather in a month.. hot humid and hazy is what they ordered.. YUCK..

Maybe next time I’ll have more cameras available.. Grammy forgot her camera.. Whoops..

Tomorrow we go to the Lycoming County Fair!

Lazy Saturday..

Today was a lazy day.. Tomorrow, early.. early in the morning Grammy has to start her long trip home. I know the girls will miss her so today was all about what Grammy wanted to do.. okay all about what the girls wanted to do with Grammy.

So we made breakfast with my new waffle maker.. yum.. the girls LOVED the waffles and so did Mike. Looks like we found something we can eat on Sunday mornings when we don’t feel like making a large Sunday breakfast.

Then we all played and were just lazy until we went to Michael’s to get some more ink for the Yudu and some t-shirts.

When we got back Mommy made some Chicken Enchiladas, the girls got a back and we all ate a yummy family dinner.

After the girls went to sleep I tried the Yudu for the first time. I decided that since time was short (Grammy had to go to sleep early to get up EXTRA early for her 4-5 hour drive to airport) I decided to use cut vinyl for the t-shirts I was going to make for the girls to wear to Sunday School.

The Yudu was VERY easy to use with the vinyl cut-outs. Here are the up-cycled t-shirts I created.

Not bad for a novice Yudu user!

Grammy’s Here!!

The girls have had a blast having their “Grammy from California” visiting. When they found out she was coming their first question was everyday for almost a week was “Is Grammy coming today?”

Well this visit is longer than other visits and I can’t wait until this Summer! Grammy says she is going to come out and visit for a WEEK!!! The girls won’t know what to do!

Today we are going to take the girls shopping. Our mission is to find shoes and ride the Up-and-Down.. excuse me the Carousel.. The girls now call it the Carousel.

UPDATE

Boy did we go shopping! First, I have got the world’s greatest mom and the girls have got the world’s greatest Grammy! We didn’t find any shoes for the girls but we did find some AWESOME pretend hats and tails. Yes, I said tails.

Haley got a pretend T-Rex hat with a clip on tail and Autumn got a pretend Giraffe with clip on tail from Michael’s and mom got a Yudu machine!! Oh I can’t wait to make some shirts and other things!

AND we got a waffle maker!! Boy daddy is going to be surprised tomorrow morning! The girls love my pancakes, lets hope they love my waffles too.

While at the mall the girls also rode the Carousel AND Autumn asked to go a second time!! Such a turn around from when she would cry and cry because she had to be near the thing when Haley wanted to ride.

Autumn also SHOCKED me by PULLING me towards the giant Easter Bunny!! She took a picture with it! WOW!!! THAT was a total shock!! She is so afraid of Santa and wanted nothing to do with the Easter Bunny last year.. but here’s the proof!

Oh and if you look closely you can see the Giraffe tail that Autumn is sitting on.. She didn’t bring the Giraffe hat into the mall with her.. but of course our Dinosaur loving Haley brought her hat and tail!

Grammy and I also did more shopping after the girls went to bed! My first shopping trip at night in a LONG time. Miss you mom, come back soon!

GRAMMY!!

After a 3 hour delay, 5 hour flight and 5 hour drive, grammy finally arrived.. the girls were soooooo excited.

Autumn came running out of the house arms open screaming GRAMMY!!! She had her pink slippers on the wrong feet, it was so cute. Haley followed out the front door with no shoes on.. GRAMMY!!!

Flight Delays!! ARGH!!

Grammy just called and her flight is delayed… 3 HOURS!!!
