Take a Picture Mom!!

Everyone once in a while when I’m checking email and such I hear from behind me… TAKE A PICTURE MOM!!

Well today Autumn balanced on her ball and wanted me to take a picture.

The Day After The Big Fall… Picture of the Day..

Well today I’m more or less the same on the soreness scale.. maybe a little less than we thought but definitely still really sore… I don’t think I broken anything but you never know if it’s hairline… I have spent most of the day sitting and working on the computer making vinyl car decals for Mike for the Jersey Shore parade on Thursday.

Here is what I made for both sides of the Explorer.. I’m quite happy how it all turned out. The second side hasn’t been applied yet because the rain came… but should be up tomorrow. I also have other letters to make for the parade just not sure what he wants those to spell out just yet.. It’s a work in progress.

Let’s see what else… oh yea… we got our second Robin’s nest in the tree we were going to remove after the first set of birds left the nest… well we didn’t get it done before she laid some more eggs… which brings me to the Picture of the Day…

Maybe this time I’ll get a picture of the birdies before they leave the nest… Oh yea… I still have to upload the pictures from the last robin’s nest… whoops…

Turkey Turkey and more Turkey…

Our daily visitors have returned… Although they don’t come into the yard since we put the fencing up to keep the girls out of the creek… they still cross on the other side of the creek… Wonder if the peacock is still traveling with them..

Basement fun… Picture of the Day..

Well today was all fun… not your typical Manic Monday.. Gram brought over the cutest little wooden bench for the girls’ room. They loved the bench so much they wanted to have a photo shoot on the bench. They also dragged that bench all over the house! It was in the hallway, in the living room, kitchen and I think it was even in the bathroom… hahahahaha

The first picture of Autumn and Haley on the new bench was the best picture of the girls. Haley sat quietly while Autumn was a clown. She was either covering  her eyes with a rubberband head band or running around in the room… or better yet… “rushing” the camera…  

Here is Haley with her beloved Frilled Raptor, Surge. She LOVES Surge so much that he sleeps with her every night! I’ve had to take him apart a couple times because of loose wiring inside. His sound wasn’t working but he was still walking… YES  he walks and makes noise. Anyway, she wouldn’t let us take him back to get a new one. She really does LOVE this guy… well ALL dinosaurs but especially Surge.

Haley is so silly crazy about him that every chance she gets she has me take pictures of Surge… and she takes pictures of him with their cameras… I mean camera. One of their cameras broke and rather than fix it or send us a new one the company sent us a gift card but we used it for other fun stuff.

Did I tell you that Haley has many books on dinosaurs… well in some of those books are the names and pictures… she knows most, if not all the names and know what those dinosaurs are suppose to look like. Haley LOVES dinosaurs!

Oh yea… here is the silly rubber band headband thing that Autumn was pulling over her eyes when she was being a silly little girl during her requested photo shoot… hahahahaha Now to get them to help me clean their room… suggestions anyone??? hahahahaha

Later in the day, when daddy came home we all went downstairs and played… Well the girls and I did while daddy worked on the other side of the basement on rewiring lights and electrical plugs.

The girls also got to draw on the chalkboard easel again. Haley proved to all that YES indeed she did draw dinosaurs yesterday! She drew some more! See… 

Aunt Jessica still says they are really penguins! HAHAHA but we know she’s wrong… hahahaha

Haley said these dinosaurs were silly… they have fire on their heads… HAHAHAHAHA

I think Autumn was getting tired of Haley getting all the attention because IMMEDIATELY after taking this picture she erased the fire head and replaced it with lots of colors and scribbling… I don’t think daddy got to see the real drawing… I think Haley likes the color pink… what do you think?

Autumn also drew some pictures that she named… she called them her monster pictures. As you can see she has many colors as apposed to Haley’s one color… or maybe she just hogs all the colors and allows Haley to only have one while she has the rest… hmmm….

After the girls were done drawing they requested to play on “the jumpy”…
