Today we went to the Farmers Market and got lots of stuff.. including our family favorite.. Mango yogurt.. YUMMMMMM

Which makes me ask.. I know Amish don’t like their picture taken but what about people taking pictures around them? That is the main reason we don’t have any pictures from our Saturday morning shopping trip.

After we went to the feed store and then home.

The girls and I went to visit gram while daddy did some lawn work..

I think we walked in the door said our hellos and then the it was time play beauty shop and do some nails..

Pap came home and it was time to do his nails!

When they were done playing beauty shop gram told pap to pay the girls.. she wanted him to give them a dollar.. but  he had other plans.. he said the C word..

Autumn was in agreement but Haley didn’t want any.. although when they came back from visiting the candy store.. upstairs.. Autumn and Haley had their payments..

Afterwards we went home praised daddy for his awesome job, changed out clothes (it was getting warmer) and went pistol holster and generator shopping and a final stop at Tractor Supply.. “She thinks my tractors sexy..” sorry that song always comes to mind when I say Tractor Supply.. HAHAHahaha

Daddy was able to find a holster at Gander Mountain.. HUNT FISH CAMP.. sorry that is stuck in my head from a few years back.. commerical song..

It’s not being used anymore but when the store was just opening up in Williamsport it was ALL over the radio and tv.. so it stuck..

Clean Room and Cars..

After a week of not being able to watch TV or do much fun of any kind.. the girls finally cleaned their room.. of course I had to direct the whole thing and it took an hour. BUT THEY cleaned their room.

First thing they want to play with.. CARS!

So with a tingy splat noise they dump the cars out and proceeded to line them up and surprisingly.. they divided them up equally AND get this.. CLEANED up after themselves!!!

Swim Class.. and UPDATE on the Pool

Today’s swim class was MUCH better..

Autumn controlled her urge to spit water out of her mouth very well and Haley didn’t twirl, at least I don’t remember her twirling..

OH YES.. Haley even went under the water by herself!!!

Oh.. the first clip is foggy because the indoor pool area is very.. VERY warm and humid!

I don’t know why but after I edited the video (have to divide the scences) youtube uses this size.. hmmm

I have to add after viewing the videos I have to remind people that Haley’s very first class last year, in the very first 5 minutes she slipped off the step stool in the pool and ended up in the water with about 4″ above her head, while one instructor was at the other side of the pool and the second instructor had JUST turned around to get another student to bring to the step stools.. Now she was TOLD several time before getting to the stool and handrail not to let go and was shown the step stool, just not the edge of the step stool. Ever since those 3 or 4 seconds under the water she has been afraid of putting her head under water. She had gotten better by the end of the outdoor swimming season last year but we stopped swim classes because I didn’t want her leaving the indoor pool with wet hair during the fall and winter. This year.. they will take lessons all year so we don’t have to start again next year. I’m bring a hair dryer.. they’ve gotten a little more use to that too.

UPDATE

Update on the swimming pool at home.. ARGH.. we got the retaining wall complete and the sand leveled.. go to put the thing together.. and the mice have chewed SEVERAL holes through it..

It WAS a nice pool.. but now we have to get a new one..

After several trips and phone calls NO one has the same pool in stock.. the holes are too large to patch..

Next year we are getting a professionally installed above ground pool.. but this year we got a simple pool to replace the better one the mice chewed hole through.. the retaining wall and pool area was for a 15ft pool and the new pool will be 18ft.. so we will wait until next year to move the wall out..

Now to fill the pool!!

Screaming..

I think the girls have discovered their screaming voices.. HAHAHA..

All day out of no where the girls would start scream and then start giggling..

Well that screaming continued at bedtime when Autumn didn’t want to go to bed.. She threw the BIGGEST screaming fit EVER..

So bad that Haley came out of the bedroom with one question..

“Mom.. What is the conclusion to this screaming?”

It took everything I had not to giggle at her question..

My Girlie Girls

My girls are far from girlie.. they prefer overalls to dresses.. I mean on Sunday they wear dresses BUT every other day.. it’s jeans, shorts and overalls (weather permitting)..

But today.. THEY decided to be GIRLIE GIRLS..

Please try to ignore the mess.. I’m TRYING to clean the computer room..
